The pleated design causes the charged air flow to change directions several times. The particles heavier than air then adhere to the filter walls.

Filter efficiency increases as it becomes saturated, which is why it should only be replaced when absolutely necessary. Depending on the paint type, the filter can reach 98% solid – or 15kg per square metre.

Optimum Efficiency: 25 pleats per metre.
